- What do I get when I buy the Mindturf - IMS pack?
The content available is all divided into PACKS that are designed especially for learning through the medium – the packs cover areas & short tests on:
1. Specific areas of study like Antonyms, Critical Reasoning, Flash Cards etc. as well as Short Tests across all subjects. At the end of each module one can choose to continue on the same subject or jump to other areas.
2. Background information on schools, cut offs, important dates etc.
3. Tips & tricks like modules on Vedic Math, Reading Faster. Formula books etc.
4. Help in gaining proficiencies in GROUP DISCUSSION & PERSONAL INTERVIEW ETC.
5. Reference Material from the best content partners across the globe for GK and other areas.
6. Counseling & motivational help
- I don’t have a GPRS phone, can I still learn through the phone?
Yes, a GPRS phone is not necessary for most content. The content packs are available across SMS & Voice for non-GPRS users. There is also going to be a ‘live help’ services for the benefit of all students.
- How much does the service cost?
The purpose of Mindturf is to make available world class content to all students at affordable rates. All packs cost between Rs. 30 – Rs. 100 and customized to the students’ needs
- What are live services?
‘Live services’ is a way for users to connect directly to counselors for discussions on various topics – the service portfolio would include help on career selection, information on schools & college selection, scholarships, difficult questions & answers & motivational counseling etc.
- What are the other services that I can avail of?
Beyond the course material, one can download applications to interact with fellow students, play games that enhance your skills & get prizes etc. for participating in various competitions
- When & how do I activate the service?
Idea users can subscribe to IMS Study Pack by dialing 554560300.Most operators in the country will be hosting the service in India by end of this year. Additional information will be given via relevant communication by your wireless operator.
